Community Reading Center at the Buena Regional High School

We are happy to announce that the Community Reading Center at the Buena Regional High School will be open during the school year on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00. Sponsored by the Atlantic County Library System, you can get full access to all of the resources available through the county system. This includes books, periodicals, dvds, computer use, special events, and more! Come and check it out!

WEEK OF RESPECT
A WEEK OF RESPECT was celebrated at CLES.   Guidance Counselor Mrs. Zellers, PE & Health Teacher Mrs. Aretz and Student Teacher Mr. Dougherty pose with Poster Contest Winners ~ Kylie Ann LoSasso, Kylie Pillsbury, Jaymena Ware, Bryce Anthonson, Edwin Sotelo, Skylar Forvour, Haily Taylor, Alyssa Herbert, Ta'ssiah Hollis, Eddie Morgan, Cael Aretz and Jason Gibbs.

The New Garden!
                                      A new garden has been planted in front of the school.   Thanks to Mr. James Henry for framing out the area, Mrs. Amy Rovani for selecting the shrubs, Ms. Kati Swope, Mrs. Erika Krokos and Mr. Benedetto for helping with the planting.  Special thanks to Larry D'Ottavio for his generous donation of shrubs and to Ron Berenato from the ACUA, Eco Products Division, for the donation of soil to our school.  Beautiful Job!
The Friends of Joey Foundation constructing the new pavilion
As you know, we are in the process of constructing a new pavilion on the Joey Reiser Playground.  Thanks for the Friends of Joey Foundation and a group of volunteers, this pavilion is becoming a reality.

The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), Ebooks and Audio Books which may be viewed online or downloaded for 90 days, Tumble Puzzles & Games, and TumbleResources for teachers and students.

TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.

Students at Collings Lakes once again prove that "Change Can Make Change".  All money collected will be donated to the American Red Cross to help the victims of the recent tragedy in Japan.
